"Ma, Only You!" includes Miriam’s award-winning “Mikve Monologue” that she performed in the Monologue Competition at the English-Speaking Theatre Arts Festival in Jerusalem in March 2013.

 

The Jerusalem Post reviewed the winning performers and had this to say about Miriam: “Miriam Esther Eyges came from Boston specially to compete. Her monologue, ‘Mikve Mission - Potholes on the Way to Purity’ was tinged with humor, determination, and courage. The audience was with her all the way and reacted with laughter and applause. For Eyges the prize was less important than the realization of a 30-year dream to come to Israel.”
